Prerequisite: One week-long Nine Bodies Insight Retreat
“Flexible Practice Intensives” are a new type of Dharma Ground offering. They include 2-3 guided meditations per day and drop-in practice support meetings at a range of times. These “Flexible Practice Intensives” can be held as a period of seclusion/dedicated silent practice or as a time of intentional practice that includes work and life responsibilities. You’ll be encouraged to hold these 10 days as valuable intensive practice time, including practicing in the midst of work, family life, and interactive situations in your relational life.
This “Flexible Practice Intensive” is timed to begin immediately following the “The Dharma of Surrender, Forgiveness, and Accountability Retreat'' to flow with the momentum and theme of the retreat. However, enrollment is open regardless of whether or not you are able to attend the retreat. All members of our community (who meet the prerequisite) who feel drawn to this “Flexible Practice Intensive” form are warmly welcome to join us. The guided meditations will include the Arriving Sequence, Nine Bodies Insight practice, and short teaching stories and poetry.
Schedule:
Guided meditations every day at both 7:30 am PT and 11:00 am PT and 2 days (2/21,and 2/24) at 6:00 pm PT. (We will include the Tuesday/Friday 7:30 am PT and Wednesday 6:00 pm PT Community Meditations as part of our schedule.) There will be a 7:30 pm PT Candlelight Silent Sit each night. The practice support groups will be offered at a variety of times throughout the “Flexible Practice Intensive.” The Dharma Ground Temple Hall (online) will also be open for silent, self-practice in community 24/7. The guided meditations will be recorded and shared.
This program is offered by tax-deductible donation, with a suggested range of $150- $1500 (which includes teacher dana).
